From an idea to a coin, in five steps.

Orbit turns a pitch into a fair launch on pons. People back the idea first, then everyone starts with the same amount.

1Step 1 of 5

Pitch your idea

Give your coin a name, ticker, image and a short reason to exist, just like a pons launch. Then set how many seats it needs and what one seat costs.

  • You choose the seat price and the number of seats.
  • Add your X, Telegram or website so people can check you out.
  • Set a creator tax and where creator fees go, if you want.

Supporters take seats

Your pitch appears on Orbit. People who believe in it take a seat. Every seat costs exactly the same, so nobody gets a better deal for being early or close to you.

  • Seats are refundable any time until the last one fills.
  • The pitcher can cancel, and everyone gets their ETH back. Up to 50 seats are refunded automatically; in bigger pitches each supporter collects their refund with one click.
  • The card shows how many seats are left.

The last seat launches it on pons

When the final seat is taken, Orbit launches the coin on pons in the same transaction. The ETH pooled from the seats buys the coin at launch.

  • Nobody has to press a button or wait for a team.
  • No one can buy before the seat holders.
  • Your coin is a normal pons coin from the first second.

Everyone starts equal

The coins bought at launch are shared out equally. The person who pitched it and every supporter start with exactly the same amount.

  • No team allocation and no bigger slice for insiders.
  • Holdings land in each wallet automatically.
  • This is what makes it a fair launch.

It trades and graduates on pons

After launch, anyone can buy and sell the coin on its pons bonding curve. When it graduates, its liquidity is locked so it cannot be pulled.

  • Trading happens on pons, with pons fees and rules.
  • Creator fees and tax go where the pitcher chose.
  • Locked liquidity means no rug pull at graduation.

Seat
One equal spot in a pitch. Everyone pays the same price, and everyone gets the same amount of the coin.

Questions

Still unsure about something? Ask us on X or read the docs.

Why seats instead of just buying at launch?

On a normal launch, whoever is fastest (often bots) buys first at the lowest price. With seats, everyone commits at the same price before the coin exists, and the launch buy is shared equally. Being early or connected gives no advantage.

What if a pitch never fills its seats?

Nothing launches. Supporters can take their seat back and get their ETH refunded any time before the last seat fills, and the pitcher can cancel the pitch so everyone is refunded. For pitches up to 50 seats that happens automatically; in bigger pitches each supporter collects their refund with one click on the pitch page.

Does the pitcher get more than supporters?

No. At launch, the pitcher and every supporter receive exactly the same amount of the coin. The pitcher can earn from the creator tax (up to 3%) on trades afterwards, which is shown on the pitch card before anyone takes a seat. pons also charges that creator tax on the launch buy itself, so a small part of the pooled ETH (at most 3%) goes to the pitcher at launch; the Create pitch page shows the exact amount.

What is the creator tax?

A small percentage on trades of the coin, up to 3%, that the pitcher sets when creating the pitch. It goes to the pitcher (or a wallet they choose). You can see it on every pitch card before you take a seat.

What fees are there?

When a pitch launches, a flat 0.0005 ETH Orbit fee and pons’ own launch fee come out of the pooled ETH. Everything left buys the coin, shared equally. Both fees are shown on every pitch page and on the Create pitch form before anyone pays.

Why does the chart say “dev sold”?

The Orbit contract launches the coin and shares it equally with every seat holder in the same transaction. Some charts treat whoever launched a coin as the “dev”, and every wallet that got coins at launch as a dev wallet. So when a seat holder sells, it can show as “dev sold”. They are supporters who paid the same seat price as everyone. There is no team allocation on Orbit.

What happens after launch?

The coin is a regular pons coin. Anyone can trade it on its pons bonding curve, and when it graduates its liquidity is locked so it cannot be pulled.
