Risk notice

Coins launched through Orbit are highly speculative. Their price can go to zero. Only put in what you can afford to lose completely.
Coins can lose all value
Most coins launched on launchpads have no value beyond what people are willing to pay for them. Prices can move very fast, in either direction, and can fall to zero. Starting with the same amount as everyone else at launch does not mean everyone ends up with the same result: anyone can sell, at any time.
Taking the last seat is final
Seats are refundable only until the last one fills. Taking the last seat launches the coin immediately, and from that moment no seat can be refunded. After launch, the coin trades on pons, and anyone can buy or sell it.
Smart contract risk
Orbit runs on smart contracts, and coins run on pons’ smart contracts. Smart contracts can contain bugs or be attacked, which could lead to lost or stuck funds. Unless stated otherwise, assume the contracts have not been independently audited.
Orbit depends on pons and Robinhood Chain
Orbit does not control pons or Robinhood Chain. pons can change its fees, rules or who is allowed to launch, or pause launches. If pons stops accepting launches from Orbit, pitches can still be refunded but cannot launch. Robinhood Chain can slow down or stop for a time.
Transactions can’t be undone
Every blockchain transaction is final once confirmed. Sending to the wrong address, approving the wrong thing, or losing your recovery phrase can’t be fixed by Orbit or anyone else. You also pay a network fee for each transaction, even ones that fail.
Copycats and scams
Anyone can create a pitch with any name, ticker or picture, including copies of well-known coins or people. A pitch on Orbit is not an endorsement. Always check the pitch page and the coin’s contract address, and be careful with links in pitches.
Creator tax and fees
Pitchers can set a creator tax on trades, up to the limit pons allows. It goes to the creator wallet. Launch fees come out of the pooled ETH. Check these on the pitch page before you take a seat.
Larger pitches need a button press
In pitches with more than 50 seats, coins at launch and refunds after a cancel are not sent automatically. Each person collects their own from the pitch page or their profile.
Laws and taxes
Rules for crypto differ by country and can change. Using Orbit may not be allowed where you live, and buying, selling or receiving coins may create tax obligations. You are responsible for both.
Nothing here is advice
Orbit does not give financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and does not recommend any pitch or coin. Do your own research. See the terms of use for more.
